As of late, I've been very much into the "Casual Glam" look. As the name implies, the look is all about incorporating pieces with glamorous elements - think statement and embellished pieces- with everyday basics. In other words, what I try to be all aboiut - mixing high end with high street. Today's casual glam look is perfect for brunch, a fashion show or even a night out.

Skirt & Crop Top

I started putting the outfit together by first selecting this red skirt from Alice & Olivia from Off Fifth - it's on sale as I type this so be sure to hurry! Then, I added a crop top from Wet Seal for the high street piece, the every day basic. The crop top style is also on tend and having a huge moment right now so it's not going anywhere for Fall.  Thanks to its monochrome look, it can be paired with almost everything - from this skirt to simple high-waisted jeans. Why high-waist jeans? Because if we're trying to go for a glamorous look, showing off stomach doesn't quite fit - or at least not for this outfit.

For shoes, I chose the quintessential casual shoe, the Birkenstock. These are from Shoes.com.

For accessores, I chose some great statement and investment pieces. They help add more glam to the look and create a more luxurious vibe.
