Swimsuit Roundup From Recent Trip to Mexico

Hi all,

Let’s talk swimsuits – one of my favorite topics to talk about! Coming from Miami, I’ve grown up loving everything ocean/pool/beach-related. From paddle boarding to boating, or simply lounging with a cocktail in hand. And that means bathing suits. There’s a suit for every occasion and for everyone, regardless of your body type or comfort level. Below, I’ve included the bathing suits you saw me wear during my recent trip to Fairmont Mayakoba to help you net your new bathing suit for the upcoming Summer season!

Bikinis for Summer

We’ve talked before about finding the right swimsuit for your body type. I’m a big fan of bikinis, and in particular triangle and string bikinis. I feel they’re perfect for smaller busts and for creating curves on the hips. Those with larger busy, might want to seek out bikini tops that have thicker straps for additional support.

One-Piece Swimsuits

I’m also a huge fan of one-piece bathing suits for several reasons. The main one? They can be styled and worn as a body suit! You can try pairing a one-piece with denim shorts, or a midi skirt. Add heels and you’re ready to walk the town, attend that festival, or go to a pool or BBQ party. It’s that simple! A look like this one can always add a panama hat, like this one, this one, or this one. For the shoes, espadrilles are a great choice, whether you go for heeled ones or flat, is up to you and will depend on the occasion. Alternatively, you can look at strappy heeled sandals, gladiator sandals or even thong sandals!

Christie
