Floral Dresses for Fall

Hi all,

I hope you're doing great as you read this! It's mid-week as I'm writing and I'm excited for what has been a busy week that will only continue to get busy as Fashion Week nears. Today, I'm sharing images and details from this beautiful, silk flower dress from Isabel Marant, a favorite of mine and we're going to talk a bit about bringing floral dresses to fall. So without delay, let's take a look!

A Silk Flower Dress

This Isabel Marant piece is beautiful - not to mention colorful! Silk is a luxe fabric, which immediately elevates the feel and look of the outfit and overall appearance making it an extra chic choice for your wardrobe. I also love that it is pretty loose-fitting, but its belted design accentuates the waist. The dress is long-sleeved and has a rounded neck so it doesn't show off much skin (perfect for work too) and can be worn unbelted and styled as a kimono, a huge trend for fall.

While I couldn't find this red version of the dress, I'm linking the white version here and below. If you want this one, it's available at the Isabel Marant Miami Design District Store.

Floral Dresses in Fall

As you begin transitioning your wardrobe to fall, you don't need to leave florals behind. I know what you're thinking: florals are more for spring and summer. But that's not necessarily true. We can bring them towards fall as well. Plus, dresses are always an easy, fool-proof outfit that you can just throw on and run out the door. The trick comes with the accessories: varying shoes and purses can bring the already-versatile dress into many locations and occasions. Pair your floral dress with flats and a shoulder bag and your ready for errands, work, breakfast or lunch date. Elevate it with a clutch and stilettos and you're ready for a night time outing.

You can shop the dress I'm wearing below, but I've also curated a list of similar - and more affordable - dresses for you to pick from.

So let me know in the comments below: how do you style floral dresses in fall? I look forward to your responses!

As always, thank you for reading!

Xo,

Christie
