Hot Bag Alert: Jacquemus Le Sac Minho Mini Bag Review
Hi all,
Welcome to a new edition of the Hot Bag Alert, a series in which we look at one particular bag in detail and review it thoroughly to help you determine whether you should invest in it or pass on it. Today, we’re talking about one of the popular bags of the moment, from one of the “IT” brands among the fashion crowd, and of course, I’m talking about the Jacquemus Le Sac Minho mini bag.
Jacquemus Le Sac Minho Mini Bag
Mini bags are having a moment right now and the Jacquemus Le Sac Munho Mini bag is a perfect example of why. The beauty of these mini bags is that they’re on trend today but are have been seen on numerous runways for Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer, so you’ll be wearing them for some time to come. This one in particular features a structured design with round top handles and is available in several colors, including black, camel, light blue, green and red. I opted for the black because it’s a classic – and though I’m in need certainly of a camel-colored mini bag, the black one was great for some looks I was going for during Fashion Month.
The Jacquemus Le Sac Mini Bag is certainly not meant to be an everyday bag that you bring to work and have baby diapers in. But you can wear it to many occasions thanks to its size and design. Aside from date night, or weekend nights out with the girls, you can also wear it to brunches, and other weekend events such as bridal/baby showers.
Le Sac Specifications
Measured at 5.9’’ in weight and 3.5’’ in height, to go along 2’’ depth, and a 3.9’’ handle, the bag certainly classifies as mini, but you’d be surprised at how much you can fit in it. Thanks to its accordion-like inside design, which opens up to 3 separate sections, the bag not only has space for all the essentials but also allows you to organize a bit as well. I can confirm I was able to fit my iPhone plus in one section, my lipstick, concealer and eyeliner in another, and my small keychain wallet in the third end.
Verdict
The Jacquemus Le Sac Mini bag is a great on-trend bag that will be very wearable not only right now, but in the future as well, making it easier to stomach the price tag for a small bag. Priced between $565 and $690, they’re certainly not every day purchases, but could be a great anniversary or holiday gift option as well. I’ve enjoyed wearing it this Fashion Month but will also look forward to wearing it on more dressed-down occasions as well as it’s a very versatile bag from one of the most sought-after contemporary designers.
