Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic 2018
Hi all,
The saying goes: better late than never, right? So a few days late, but I wanted to share with you the details of this year's Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, one of my favorite events in the calendar year. This was my second year attending and it was once again, a super fun event. So if you're reading this, contemplating whether you should buy tickets when they come out for 2019. Do it & I'll see you there!
Veuve Clicquot Polo Look
So the look I decided to go is of course a bit of a statement look, but without going too "out there". I also didn't want to go for the more "typical" polo look, so I skipped the dress and opted instead for a fun gingham jumpsuit from Amanda Uprichard. The inspiration was sort of drawn from a modernized 50s house wife look. I really adore how flattering the jumpsuit is and it's available white, black and pink as well. The V neck line gives an appearance of a longer, leaner figure and the fun matching belt helps accentuate the waist.
The rest of the pieces I chose complemented the jumpsuit. So for shoes, I picked these brand new and super hot pair from Aquazzura. They're a great evening heel for several occasions. The bag is from my friend Ximena Kavalekas. you've likely seen me wear a few of her pieces. This one was picked mostly for color and space. The last piece are the earrings which received tons of compliments at the polo and they're by Eliza Higgins - super fun, right?
Thank you as always for reading!
xoxo,
Christie
