Hot Bag Alert: Longchamp Roseau Mini Review
Hi all!
Excited to bring a new Hot Bag Alert today and we’re talking all about the Longchamp Roseau Mini, which is a brand new size for the brand’s iconic range. We’re going to review the Longchamp Roseau Mini and go in-depth into some fashion psychology to see if this bag is the one for you!
Longchamp’s roseau Mini Bag
Longchamp has been one of my personal favorite brands for some time - after all, it’s an iconic French brand! I’ve been wearing Longchamp bags for years. In fact, their Le Pliage was my bag for college and high school, and I still wear it to this day!
The Roseau mini bag is part of Longchamp’s signature Roseau line that’s been re-designed for this season, but it’s a brand new size for the line. It comes in two variations: leather and suede. The one I’m wearing in the pictures and video is the red suede version.
Specifications
The official measurements for the bag have it at 7x5x3, but in actuallity, for us it came out closer to 8’’ in length, making it a nicely-sized bag. Most mini bags on the market don’t fit an iPhone Max Pro, or Android equivalent, but this one does. Plus, it also allows for your make up, wallet, keys, etc.
The inside, also in suede, features a small pocket for cards, or loose change as well. The bag can be worn in three ways as I demonstrate in the video. It is a top handle bag , but one that can also be worn off the shoulder.
Roseau Mini Pros
There are three main items that make the Roseau mini an attractive buy. First, this is an on-trend bag as all mini bags are a big trend right now. Second, it’s season-proof! Thanks to its colors, it can easily be worn for Spring & summer as they vibrant and fun, but the red and magenta top handle on this one allow for Fall & winter use as well.
Lastly, it’s versatile! Since it can be worn three different ways and fits most needed items, it can be worn for many occasions, including work, date night or errands!
More on the Longchamp Roseau Mini
So the bag is versatile right? But can it be worn with anything? Yes! Since it’s colorful, my main recommendation would be to pair it with more neutral outfits, like I do here in all-black. White or beige would work too, of course. But in the video, I also share a bit of how it can be worn with other colors as well.
The Roseau Mini says a lot of things but one thing’s for sure: you’re not basic. You’re not content with the status quo and like to spice it up. It can be a great conversation starter, too!
Verdict
At $380 for the leather version and $470 for the suede, the Longchamp Roseau Mini bag definitely not pocket change, but it’s what I’d call accessible luxury. We’re talking about an iconic French brand after all! But given the bag is on-trend, season-proof and versatile, I’d rate this bag a BUY!
