Holiday Style

Hi all!

We're a week away from Thanksgiving and that means it's time to start planning outfits for all of the upcoming holiday events and parties! So what to wear?

Today's look is quite versatile and appropriate for a work function or a cocktail party with friends. This is because the dress I chose to wear is conservative and not too revealing yet also quite fun thanks to the fringe. The dress is also perfect for those in the southern atmosphere and in warmer climates, thanks to the length of the dress and the fact that it is sleeveless. However, the dress can still be worn for those of us in colder climates, as long as you add a chic neutral colored coat and scarf before stepping out the door. You could also add some black leggings and pumps or wear with black over the knee boots for some added warmth.

Because I love adding a pop of color and love wearing red during the holidays, I added red accessories to the look. I first selected a gorgeous pair of red pumps and then grabbed a vintage clutch that I have had for over 10 years. I've been asked how I keep my bags in such great condition and I owe that to storing my bags in their dustbags when not in use and to avoid direct sunlight and rain to help protect my bags from the elements.
