Matching Set With Grommet Details

Hi all!

NYFW is over and all this week and next we'll be looking at the outfits, trends and shows in detail. Today, we take a look at this amazing matching set from Forever 21.

I love this set that features a skirt and a top, and both with grommet detailing which gives the whole look a retro-like vibe. Here, I modernized it by bringing forth some black and navy accents and paired it with a fabulous gray coat from ASOS.

The beauty of this set is its versatility. As per the look, you can add a coat and stockings and be ready for winter. Once it warms up, you can ditch the coat and bare your legs making this an outfit that can be worn year-round, which is great! In the summer, consider pairing the set with a fun pair of sandals and a colored bag for the pop of color.

The gray coat is very comfy and warm and can be worn of course with other items. Consider pairing it with simpler pieces so the coat itself is the statement of the outfit. Look into neutral colored top plus skinny jeans with over the knee boots, for example.
