Work Wear Inspiration
Hi all!
I hope that as you read this post, you're in the midst of a great day!
Something I love to do is write about work wear and how to make it stylish and fun while still being professional. Take a look at a few other ideas here and here.
Who said work wear had to be boring? That's right, because today's post is all work wear! Today's outfit started with this figure-flattering midi skirt from The Odivo. I've always been a huge fan of tortoise shell and I LOVE the tortoise shell accents on this skirt. I paired the skirt with a simple, yet cozy black turtleneck, black stockings and black pointy pumps.
People say that if you're short, or vertically-challenged, like me, you shouldn't wear midi skirts. I couldn't disagree more! However, one key item to keep in mind is to make sure the skirt hits a few inches above your ankles. If you don't show this gap, you're going to look shorter than you actually are. Consider adding black pointy toe pumps to help elongate your legs.
To finish off, I grabbed this new Henri Bendel jetsetter convertible bag that fits everything you could possibly need on a daily basis. I particularly love how you also have the option to hold it with your hands or wear it as a crossbody if you want to be hands free. Perfect for the on-the-go busy woman in all of us!
What's your fits-all every day bag? Comment below and let me know!
As always, thank you for reading!
XOXO
