Versatile Beach Cover Up

I hope that as you read this, you're having a good day! Today's post is all about my hike to Colombier Beach in St Barths and this beautiful cover up from Wala Swim! Read on to find out what this is all about:

One of my favorite beaches in St Barths is Colombier Beach. Located on a corner of the island, this beautiful beach is accessible only by boat or a 20-30 minute hike downhill. If you followed on Snapchat, you might haven seen the trek down (If you didn't, be sure to follow on Snapchat: ChristieFerrari). The hike is fun and nothing too crazy - I've done some hikes that are way too tiring - I'm looking at you Hawai'i! This one though was manageable and it helps when the husband is carrying all the heavy and important stuff like Champagne & Ice :).

But the question becomes: What to wear on a hike in which you're likely to sweat, but also want to be stylish? Enter this amazing Pily Q cover up dress from Wala Swim!

This cover up was the perfect choice, thanks to its light fabric that actually helps absorb moisture but the dress-like feel ensured I wouldn't get too hot. The colors present on the cover up are beautiful too - bright and cheerful. I also really like the bow tie detailing on the side back.

If you've followed my blog or writing for a bit, you'll know that I love versatility. In particular, when I'm on vacation - hey, there's only so much that you can fit in your luggage! This dress is perfect, because of its colors and fit, it can also be worn out to a fun night out on the town. All you'd have to do is swap the flats/sandals you wore to the beach with some lace up flats or heel espadrilles and you're ready!
