Cut Out Dress

For today's post I wanted to discuss one of my favorite Summer trends - The Cut Out Dress! We'll talk about general tips and tricks for wearing or selecting cut out dresses and of course touch base on this particular dress I'm wearing and how to style it!

As Summer approaches and the temperatures rise, you're going to see - if you haven't already- a rise in cut out dresses. Why? Well, they're comfortable, light and perfect for hot days. The dresses' peek-a-boo cuts show off Summer skin and reveal a hint of sexiness while still remaining somewhat conservative since your legs will be covered. Cut out dresses are great if you like to show off some skin, and be a little sexy, but perhaps are not comfortable or don't want to expose your body too much.

Picking the right cut out dress

Picking the right cut out dress is important, We all have different bodies and assets. Be mindful that the cut out doesn't expose a part of your body that you're not too happy with. Instead, choose to showcase one of your assets.

Today's Cut Out Dress

This monochrome dress is from SWF and I'm in love with it! One of the things that I love is that as described above, it has a bit of sexiness with the cut outs, but still covers the legs, like a normal maxi dress. The cut outs for this dress are above the hips, which makes the dress very figure-flattering. In particular, if you want to cover some love handles.

For this outfit, the monochrome dress called for some gold accessories. That's why I grabbed these beautiful Liza Echeverry Jewelry earrings (buy here). The earrings are light weight and don't pull on the ear as you might have thought due to their size and they add major luxe to this and any outfit!
