Top 10 Midi Skirts Under $100

Midi skirts are one of my favorite items in my closet. Why? Because of how versatile they are. Whether they feature fun prints, bold colors or are pleated, it's hard to go wrong with a midi skirt and today's post is all about midi skirts and my top 10 midi skirts for under $100.

How to Style a Midi Skirt

Before you look at the examples, let's talk about styling a midi skirt. Midi skirts come in various types, but can be worn for a casual outing or can be dressed up. They are perfect for a weekend brunch with friends, but can also be worn for date night or even to work, as they can be paired with sneakers, flats or stilettos. If you don't have many midi skirts - or any at all - consider one of the ones above just for their versatility.

Consider the following: If you're petite, look for a fitted midi skirt or have the length hit mid calf or a few inches above the ankles. Otherwise, it'll make you look even shorter than you really are.

If you wear an A-line skirt, make sure to pair it with a fitted top, preferably tucked in to avoid appearing larger.

Today's Midi Skirt Outfit

For today's look, I wore a skirt from Verge girl and top also from the same store. What do I love about this midi skirt? What don't I love would be a better question! Let's start with the layers: Great volume and depth plus adding the pleated nature of the skirt and it's a winner. The top goes great with this midi skirt as is features amazing side lace detailing.

Today's look was worn to brunch with my girlfriend but would also be appropriate for a family event thanks to being more on the conservative side yet also great for date night because of the edgy and fun- side lace detailing.
