How To Pull Off the Casual Glam Look

Today's post is all about the Casual Glam look! What the Casual Glam Look, you ask? It's a way of dressing that appears effortless, feminine, chic, glamorous, yet is comfortable! Yes, that really does exist! Today's look was actually worn during NYFW and yes, those are flats. And no, I haven't lost my mind. In fact,  this was one of my most well-received looks on the street and was even featured on popsugar.com! 

What is the Casual Glam Formula?

A great formula when creating this look is to pick a few glamorous and casual pieces that you would like to style! Great glamorous pieces don't have to be expensive and could be a great pair of heels, a statement jewelry or bag or articles of clothing made from luxe fabrics, such as silk or lace. Great casual pieces can include a basic tee, denim, sneakers, or fall's must have shoe, the slipper!

For my look, I initially grabbed a gorgeous jeweled tone lace dress which you may have seen me wear recently in another post.  Yes, I know I'm a repeat offender but hey, it's all about recycling what you have in your closet! This served as my main outfit piece, I then styled it with a great floral bomber, white bag from Khirma NYC, and then finished the look with a causal yet luxe pair of slippers. I'll definitely be living in these slippers this Fall and Winter and I'm sure my feet will be very appreciative of the much needed rest!
