Top 10 Boots for Fall
Hi all,
Fall & winter are also known as boot season and if you're in the market for a great pair of boots, I've selected a few of my personal favorites to hopefully assist you in deciding. Even if you're not looking for new boots, you might find a style that you don't own that you might like. In particular, one of my other goals with the list below is to try and provide different boots for different events and times of day. In other words: versatility!

Ankle Boots
Angle boots are great! Pair them with a skinny pant - think jeans or cropped trouser - and have the hem hit right above the shoe. Alternatively, you can try tucking the pants in the shoe but make sure they don't bulge. These are super versatile and can be worn during the day or at night time and almost for any occasion making them a smart buy for your shoe closet!
Over-the-Knee Boots
One of my absolute favorite type of boots - the Over-the-knee or OTK. If you follow me on Instagram, you know how much I love them because I wear them every day! Plus, they're easy to wear too: For example, grab your favorite playful dress that hits roughly right above the boot for an edgy, yet feminine look.
Alternatively, and in particular for night time outings, grab your favorite mini skirt and either go bare on your legs or stockings for added warmth. However, if you add the stockings, be sure to pair with a chunky knit, a coat or a turtleneck sweater.
Or we can keep it real simple: Grab your favorite tight jeans or tights and wear them underneath.
So let's take a look at the type of OTK boots and where to wear them.
Flat Over-The-Knee Boots
These are great to be worn during the day. For brunch for example or running errands.
Heeled over the knee
These are your bread and butter boots for night time use. Whether you're going to a bar, dinner or out dancing, these boots were made for fun. As such, I recommend you keep them out of the office!
Boots For the Office
For the office, you don't want to be too sexy. But a little heel doesn't hurt - just don't show too much skin.
Winter Boots
If you live in the north, you need a weather-proof pair of boots to brave the elements and keep you warm. They're great for running errands and casual days, rainy days, snow storms, or the commuting shoe when the roads get icy.
I hope the list and tips were able to help you with your shopping. To shop any of these boots directly, simply click on the carousel at the top of the post!
As always, thank you for reading!
