Art Basel Look: REVOLVE + Vintage Chanel

We're doing a Flash back Sunday today! (Does that even exist?) Well it does today, because we're going to be looking in detail at Thursday's look for which I received many comments and questions. So, without further delay, let's dive right in and talk about this dress from REVOLVE, the vintage Chanel from SnobSwap.com you saw me wearing and the day/night itself:
Sexy Glam with REVOLVE
The centerpiece of this look of course was this gorgeous new dress from the new Michael Costello x REVOLVE collection. You can wear it and style it as I do here, or crisscross the halter as well. This is an evening dress that will turn some heads, so when thinking of what to style it with, I opted for a pair of black stilettos and the vintage Chanel bag (more on the bag below). With it, I took the time to check out the Faena hotel and its famous gold mammoth and ART Basel Mirrored installation on the beach, and then I attended a special Perrier Jouet event where Ellie Gulding performed (she was amazing!). I ended the night at a MOSCHINO event where Diplo was the DJ. Not bad for a night out in Miami!

This outfit also marked the debut of of my new Vintage Chanel bag. If you've followed me for a while (or welcome if you're new), you'll know that I'm a lover of handbags. If you see my Stories on a daily basis, you see some of my collection behind me usually. So when I look at adding a new bag, I look for a few things in particular: it must be gorgeous, of course. But it also must be one of three things: 1 - Versatile, 2 - Unique and 3 - classic. So when I find one that is all three combined, it's a no-brainer. Today's vintage Chanel comes courtesy of Snobswap.com, a luxury consignment and vintage site I recently discovered that has a curated collection of amazing finds and where everything is 100% guaranteed to be authentic. Among the curated list of great stuff, I came upon this vintage Chanel.
Let's together look at how it fits the requirements. Is is versatile? Yes! It's spacious inside s it can go from beach bag, to day bag, to even evening. Is it unique? Yes! One of the beauties of vintage bags like this one is that you don't see them around town all of that often. Is it a classic? Also Yes! This bag isn't a part of a trend or fad. It's has the Chanel C's and the design is one that will feel at home in 2017 and any year after.
