Bow Top & Wide Legged Pants

A quick post today because I couldn't NOT talk about these wide-legged pants & bow top combination. This is one of those times where two statement pieces together actually work well. I know what you're thinking: "But Christie, you usually discourage from being too over the top". It's true, but it worked in this instance. So let's do a quick dive in:

You might have seen me wearing this shirt in the past. In fact, it came with me to Miami in March and I also paired it with a hot pair of pants. Even though this top is on the "louder" side thanks to its oversized bows on the shoulders, its color allows it to be paired with statement pants.

The top itself is a great staple to have in your closet for dressier occasions such as a brunch, Baby Shower, or cocktail event.

The minute I saw these pants, I knew I needed to have them. These straight wide legged pair are colorful, fun and absolutely perfect for Summer. But they're easy to pair, because you can add a body suit up top, for example, (though keep it neutral) and be out the door. You can take these on trips for that resort-chic look, and take them out to dinner. If traveling isn't in your future plans, no worries. these pants are perfect for work (with tucked-in white button-down shirt and pumps), your weekend brunch, or any other date or special occasion.
