2017 Fall Shoe Trends with The Mills at Jersey Gardens

As I write this, NYFW and Fall are around the corner and we have to start looking at the trends that you're going to see all season long. Today, we're looking at the 2017 Fall shoe trends in particular and for that, I've teamed up with The Mills at Jersey Gardens, an amazing shopping mall located near NYC, which has tons of shops for us to look at. So let's look at what the 2017 Fall shoe trends will be, so you can be ready!

2017 Fall Shoe Trends

• Red, Metallic & Silver: We saw this a lot during the last FW Fashion Week. Look for stilettos, heels and flats in red and silver metallic colors. They will all provide a nice pop of color for the more muted Fall palette.
• Combat, Sock & Slouchy Boots: One of, if not the biggest, trend for Fall will be the slouchy boot. You've already started seeing a bit in August but look for them to be the "it" shoe for Fall & Winter. Combat boots are always strong as well and they'll continue to be so. A new option for this season is the sock bootie, which you already saw me wearing here (though the jeans covered the sock part this time around).
• Athleisure & Sneakers: Athleisure has been strong all year long and it doesn't stop quite yet. Look for fun sneakers to continue being worn all season long.
• Embelished & Statements Heels: Look for heels that make a statement for those special nightly outings. We're talking glitter, embellishments and designs on the heel itself, paired with a black stiletto.
