Summer Evening Dress with Cinq a Sept
Hi all,
You might have seen that a few weeks ago I had the opportunity to travel and visit Mallorca for a friend's wedding. Today's post will provide the details to the outfit I wore, which features one of my favorite dresses I've ever worn: The Alexandria Dress from Cinq a Sept. So let's dive in as to why I chose, how to style it and then go shopping with 50% off (at time of writing!)
Alexandria Dress Cinq a Sept
Sometimes a piece comes along that the moment you see it, you immediately fall in love. the Alexandria dress from Cinq a Sept was one of those pieces for me. This gorgeous blue dress features embroidered lettering in french that says "The sun, the stars, the moon" in beautiful cursive. Its V-neck is rather conservative and features a lace trim. One of the other interesting pieces for the dress is the asymmetrical riffle hem, making it shine no matter where someone or a camera might be looking from.
Now clearly, this is a special occasion gown. You will not be wearing this to brunch, or anything like that. Its maxi dress cut allows for the shoes to peek out making it feel at home at weddings and other formal galas.
For this particular night, I opted to wear it with my new Gianvito Rossi Opera Sandals. Don't forget to check them and other investment shoes out and my tips for how and when to invest in shoes right after reading and shopping this article.
This dress is best complemented with an evening clutch. You can try acrylic, gold, white, or blue!
Don't forget to hit like if you like the dress and let me know in the comments below how you would style this dress.
xoxo,
Christie
