A Sunset Boat Ride with AVA Grace Wines

Hi all,

One of my favorites things to do with my husband (and sometimes the pup joins too) is picnics. Whether they take place at a park, on the beach, or even on a boat, we enjoy taking some time outdoors with some foods, music and a good drink. Today, I’m sharing details on one of our latest picnic outings in NYC where we took a rowboat out for a sunset ride and brought along some AVA Grace Wines to sip.

If you know me by now, I’m mostly a wine and champagne drinker and was excited to try out some of AVA Grace Vineyards’ new canned varieties while enjoying a rowboat ride in Central Park (he did all the rowing, while I sat back and sipped my wine, of course!)

I got the opportunity to try both the Pinot Grigio and Rosé and they were delicious – perfect for Summer. If you’re into wines, and I’m slowly getting more and more into the art of winemaking, I can tell you that the Pinot is vibrant and has touches of citrus, honeysuckle and peaches. Whereas the Rose boasts touches of watermelon, apricot and red berries.

The fact that they come in cans, makes them the perfect Summer picnic or pool or roof top party bring-along. That way you don’t have to worry about bringing a glass or bottle opener, or bringing a large bottle.
