NYFW day five: Taking on the rain with Banana Republic

The New York Fashion Week coverage continues! Be sure to check out some of the other outfits and videos from the last few days if you haven’t yet. Today, we were taking on a rainy day with the help of a super cute Banana Republic trench coat and added some fun neon to rock the neon trend. How did the outfit come together? NYFW Trench coat look
The centerpiece to this look is, of course, this black trench coat from Banana Republic. The coat is actually long enough to be worn as a dress (at least it is for me at 5’1). If you’re taller, I’d either recommend trying it on at a store or ordering two sizes to see which one fits best. Not only is the trench coat chic, and perfect for Fall and Winter, but it’s a great canvas in a way to add statements as you see fit. Whether that be via bags, shoes or even jewelry.
NYFW Accessories
For this Fashion Week look, I opted to continue embracing the Neon trend (video coming soon, I promise)! So I added a great pop of color via way of this neon green polka dot bag from Ganni. You’ve seen me wearing their stuff recently, so I guess you can call me a fan girl at this point.
For shoes, I went with this gorgeous Amina Muadi pair. If you’re unfamiliar, she’s an “it” girl turned shoe designer with some of the coolest shoes around. I find these in particular to be a great investment pair because they’re black and while they they can dress up any casual or semi casual look, they’re also perfect for weddings and galas, making this one a very versatile shoe.
