Hot Spring Trend Alert: Feathers

Today’s post is inspired by a big Spring Trend: feathers. From Gucci to Marc Jacobs to Loewe, feathers were everywhere on the spring 2019 runway shows. And while feathers may seem fun in theory, rocking feathers may seem like a challenging trend to rock this year. So today, I’m sharing a fun way to be on trend without looking like Big Bird - with this fun feather blazer!
The Feather Blazer
Apart from denim, the blazer has to be one of the most wearable pieces to have in your wardrobe. They’re versatile and classic and are very wearable. For that reason, wearing a blazer that incorporates feathers has to be the most wearable way to rock this trend, apart from a fun party dress. This one is oversized and can easily be worn as a mini dress too.
Styling the Feather Blazer
Because it’s winter at the time of writing this post, I chose to add a black turtleneck, tights, coat, and over the knee boots for added warmth. For bag, I opted for this fun plaid one. P.S. if you’re traveling, do not pack this bag in your suitcase to prevent damage. This look is perfect for a fun date night, girls night out, or if you have a trendier meeting to go to.
An alternative way to wear this blazer is to style it open and over a black mini dress. Finish the look with a pair of great heels and you have a great party look.
For warmer weather, trying styling with a pair of denim shorts, white blouse, and black pointed heels and bag for a fun weekend ready look!
