Spring temperatures have finally arrived in the northeast and I’m excited to finally be able to wear this super fun short suit from Veronica Beard. So let’s talk suiting, this suit in particular, and how to style your suit for Spring & Summer 2019.

I’m excited to be soon sharing a feature on everything suiting, as it’s one of the hottest trends for the 2019 spring and summer seasons. Look for that soon as part of my 2019 spring trends series. However, for spring and summer, one of the most sought-after styles will be short suits - both worn together and as separates. So let’s dive into why I’m loving this suit and how you can style three different ways.
Styling a Short Suit
One of the beauties of this Short suit is that you can wear it almost anywhere. So why do we style it? Most offices should allow for a short suit, and to style, simply add pumps, your work bag, and ensure to have a blouse underneath. You can top the look off with some hair accessories.
For a night out with the girls, or date night, you can opt for a more sexy look. For this, grab your go-to stilettos and clutch, and close the suit jacket to provide a bit of cleavage. Avoid wearing anything underneath - like I do here, and you’ll be very well put-together for a night out!
Lastly, if you’re not going to work or a night out, but instead are heading to a day time event, or brunch, you can dress it down a bit by adding instead a fun t-shirt underneath. For shoes, add a cute hand bag and your favorite sandals or flats and you’re good to go!
