Gift Guide: Fun gifts for mom, dad or the in-laws!

Excited to bring you a new gift guide for the holidays in 2020 and today, we’re talking all about gifts to get mom, dad, or mom in law or dad in law. I normally find these four individuals in families to be the hardest to shop for! What do you think? So for this gift guide, I’ve opted for fun gifts that will definitely start a conversation! So let’s dive in

What to get mom, dad and the in laws?

I’ll echo here something I said in the gift guide for the husband or man in your life: A fool-proof gift is to find something they love, or a hobby they enjoy doing. Golf? Get them something golf-related. Do they like gardening? Get them something gardening-related. Do they like to paint? Get them new paints, or brushes or point them towards Bob Ross. Regardless of what it is and whether or not you’re a fan of that hobby, they’ll love it and that’s what we’re after, right?

Alright onto the ideas of what to get your mom, dad or dad in law or mom in law.

First up: A massager. I don’t know about you, but my parents like to sit down on the couch and watch TV, so a neck massager for when they’re watching could be a good option! For the coffee lovers, look into something that’ll keep their coffees warm, like a smart mug, or heater.

Do they like to entertain? Or perhaps they like the outdoors? A fun table for their wine and cheese so they can spend their evenings outside could be a fun option as well! And you can tack on an outdoor, portable speaker too!

For the beer drinker, something that can keep the cold ones, well… cold! For the grandparent who loves to spoil the kids, how about some screen projector for the phone?

For that mom or mom in law who likes to stay home, consider a foot massager or something to help them do their own pedicure at home. And while at it, add cute PJs?

A personalized calendar is something any family will appreciate too and lastly, consider a coffee table book about a location or destination that is important to them. Perhaps it’s Palm Springs, Miami, Mykonos, Rome, New York City? Who knows! But it’ll be something that’ll touch on the emotions and that normally is a win.
