Cover Ups For Summer

With the temperatures starting to rise, the pools beginning to open and the beach as tempting as ever, we're all planning our summer wardrobe, right? This week, we spoke a bit about bathing suits so it makes sense for us today to switch to cover ups since we already tackled sunnies as well. Cover ups are a must and a great way to style a bathing suit, even if you don't truly plan on getting in the water, they can be the perfect outfit for your pool party or BBQ. So, let's take a look at this one in particular I wore in Palm Springs and then look at similar ones as well!
Zimmermann Cover Up
I fell in love with this particular cover up from Zimmermann. First of all, of course, I'm a big fan of the brand and got to attend their show during February's NYFW. But this one I found to be a classic with the striped pattern. And unlike other cover ups, this one isn't sheer or transparent, allowing to be versatile enough to be worn to the pool, beach, or walking around town without feeling too exposed. And it doesn't only work well with bathing suits as a result - that's right: you can pair this with shorts or denim, unbutton the bottom part and it becomes a tunic top as well.
