Miami Open with LACOSTE

Hi all,

I had the amazing opportunity to attend the Miami Open this year courtesy of one of my absolute favorite brands, LACOSTE. It was an amazing experience to watch and play some #beautifultennis! Let's dive into the experience and of course, the outfits!

Miami Open with LACOSTE

The Miami Open is one of the top Tennis tournaments in the world and takes place in the beautiful island of Key Biscayne, mere minutes away from Downtown Miami and Miami Beach. Crandon Park, as the place is called is simply a beautiful location for a tennis tournament, featuring some of the top tennis stars in the world. This year, Serena Williams and Rafael Nadal had to drop out due to injury, but Roger Federer made an appearance and won the tournament!

Tennis is a sport I always wished to have played more when I was young. I never got into it, choosing dance or ballet instead. But I enjoy playing it now as an adult (though I'm not very good at it). For any tennis die hard fans, I strongly recommend making a trip to the tournament once.

LACOSTE is an official sponsor of the tournament and I'm very happy to have partnered with them to attend and enjoy #beautifultennis. This is now my 2nd time attending and each year, it keeps getting better!

LACOSTE Tennis Outfits

The brand is well known for its athletic and chic pieces and very closely associated with tennis. It was a perfect partnership as I got to play some tennis and watch some as well.

I attended the Tuesday evening session wearing this beautiful blue dress that was featured on the LACOSTE NYFW show. It's a loose, very comfortable dress that was perfect for what was a humid, hot evening. Usually, I try to stay away from dark colors for the day, but this one is so comfortable, I'd have no problem wearing it during the day either. Since the dress is the core of this outfit, I styled it with a bag and shoes only to complement it, instead of overshadowing it.

On Thursday, I got to play some tennis with former world #4, Sebastian Grosjean, and chose to go for an all white look. Here, I started with this pleated skirt because I thought it was the perfect tennis skirt. But the other important piece of this outfit - and one what will get a lot of use even post tennis - is the sweatshirt. We're in the middle of a sweatshirt boom, and this one is a perfect piece. You can style this one with a blazer, and have the hood pop out of the back, or even a leather jacket. For the bottom section, cute shorts will look great this Spring and early Summer.
