A Trip to Baha Mar with MILLY: Cabana Collection
Hi all,
Just got back from a trip with MILLY to the Baha Mar Resort in the Bahamas and what an experience it was. I'm excited to share with you today details on all MILLY Cabana looks and what to do on your next Baha Mar stay!
MILLY Cabana Collection
You've seen me wear MILLY before, so you know I'm a bit fan of MILLY.I had the opportunity to wear some gorgeous pieces from MILLY's Cabana collection, which features stunning coverups that can sometimes double as a going-out outfit (paired with shorts, or a slip) and give you more bang for your buck. The swimsuits come in several designs:
MILLY One-Piece Bathing Suits
The one-piece bathing suits from the Cabana Collection feature fun cutout designs that are figure-flattering. An example is the black one you see below.
MILLY Bikini Bathing Suits
The two-pieces ranged from the typical string triangle bikini to an asymmetrical one-shoulder bikini. They come in super fun colors and prints. You can see some of those I wore here and below.
MILLY Cabana Collection Ready-To-Wear
During holidays or beach vacations, I often gravitate towards dresses because they're easy to throw on and keep you cool. During the trip, I wore a sea foam sequin dress, a floral number and a blue, striped bodycon. MILLY does offer alternatives however, such as shorts, tees and trousers, which will be perfect for your Summer holiday as well.
Baha Mar Resorts in Nassau, Bahamas
The stay took place at the Baha Mar Resort in Nassau, which houses two current resorts and third one that is on the way. Currently, you're able to pick from the SLS Hotel and the Grand Hyatt Hotel. Soon, a Rosewood will be available as well.
The properties, while family friendly, also has a adult-only section where the Privilege Pool is located. Here, you can order bottles and enjoy the music of a DJ all day similar to Miami and Las Vegas hotels. There's also an amazing pool with a gratto, a waterfall and a slide, perfect for pictures! Inside the gratto, you'll be greeted by an aquarium that houses nurse sharks, sea turtles (you can even feed them!), sting rays and a variety of fish. There are several other pools, but these two are the ones you likely want to visit, depending on whether you're going with your family or your friends.
In regards to food, you'll find an array of spots to enjoy. My main recommendation, however, is to ensure you book your restaurants reservations in advance. They get packed quick! My favorites were Katsuya and Shuang Ba - be sure to visit them!
Baha Mar also features a private island accessible by boat, which you can rent out for a wedding or special event. On the island, you'll find charming houses and your own natural salt-water pool.
Shop the MILLY Cabana Collection looks I wore below and let me know which one is your favorite! Do you plan on visiting the Bahamas soon?
xoxo,
Christie
