Today's OOTD is inspired by the 70's trend! While I featured a blog post back in February all about this trend (A fashion tribute to the 1970's), I thought it would be fun to feature another look.

For today's casual weekend look, I selected a pair of vintage high-waisted and minimally flared pair of denim. I personally love how flattering high-waisted jeans can be. They are the perfect jean for women of all shapes because they are forgiving and provide coverage for the lower abdomen. And for those that are petite (guilty), they help elongate the legs to help you appear taller. To stick with the 70's inspiration and for some added height, I chose a pair of neutral platform pumps. For the top, I decided to go with a white sleeveless top because I love how classic white and denim look when they are paired together. And because I love adding color to my outfits for some fun, I chose a bright red bag.
