1 Piece 3 Ways Ep. 6: How to Style Winter Boots from DSW
Hi all,
Today’s episode of how to style 1 piece 3 different ways is perfect for winter, because we’re talking about winter snow boots! I’ve partnered with DSW to showcase these gorgeous Lauren by Ralph Lauren boots and we’re going to style them for work, errands and even a snowy night out!
I’m a big fan of these boots in particular because you can go throughout the day and you won’t have to change shoes countless times. Most winter snow boots will save you from the snow, but then you have to change once you get to work or after walking your dog. Who has time for that, right?
Casual Look
This look is perfect for errands, walking your dog and just relaxing or cuddling at the house. It’s effortless and casual, while still looking chic. For this look, we grabbed a fun, cozy cardigan – I’m sure you have one at the house you can think of right now. Then, simply add black leather leggings or tights to maintain that casual, yet comfy vibe and finish off the look with the boots. Super simple, super comfy and most importantly – still chic!
Versatile Outfits
One of the things I look for in any piece I buy is versatility. My rule usually is to find something that can be worn at least three different ways, hence this series. And these boots deliver also because they’re great for work. Why? Well, since the boot is primarily leather, and contains the shearling detailing up top, it adds two lux fabrics that dress the shoe up. So how do we style these boots for work? I opted for fun winter-appropriate dress and layered it with a black turtleneck underneath. This ensures you’ll be warm throughout the day once you take your coat off. Add some leggings or stockings and the boots and you’re set!
Dinner Look
This final look is the dressiest one of the three and perfect for a dinner out or at a friend’s house. You can also do a happy hour too! We begin with a midi-length silk skirt – you might have seen this one in the past. Add stockings and a turtleneck for warmth. The final touch? A jacket or coat! I recommend going for a faux fur coat or a puffer jacket!
So there you have it! We’ve styled these everyday boots for three different occasions. Which one is your favorite and will you be styling it? Let me know in the comments below!
Xoxo,
Christie
