Coachella Outfit Round Up
Hi all,
I'm back from Coachella and I wanted to share with you links and details for some of the outfits you saw me wear in the desert (Levi's Look is here). These are not only good for Coachella, but actually these outfits will be great for any festival you plan on attending this year (or you could opt for a kimono too). And not only that, several of these pieces can be worn out to errands, other events and brunch. So let's take an in-depth look at these Coachella outfits in today's round up:
Coachella Outfits from REVOLVE
My first stop when I got to the desert was actually an hour and a half outside of Palm Springs and it was Salvation Mountain, an artwork-covered hill with murals and bible verses. It's super colorful and the perfect backdrop for pictures. I highly recommend venturing out there for some fun pics. While there, I had two outfits that I photographed.
The first was a matching daisy crochet set in fuschia from Lovers + Friends - perfect for pool parties, festival or a beach vacation. The set IS SUPER see-through so be sure to wear it over a swimsuit or have a pair of nude seamless body shorts for example. Same for the top, be sure to carry some stickers with you.
In regards to fit, I'm quite petite at 5'1, 100 lbs, and I chose to go for the XS, instead of the XXS. It fit well, but wasn't super tight. This worked great in case I had a swimsuit or wore undergarments underneath. If you want to wear this super skin tight, then consider going a size down.
I styled the set with a suede jacket from Sezane as it's a very sexy look and I wanted to cover up a bit. Plus, I think it balanced the look nicely. For shoes, I opted for these DSW cowboy boots - more on these and the western trend coming soon to the blog :).
The second look here is perfect for a music festival as well as is more of a fun western, casual look. The top is also from REVOLVE - hurry, it's almost sold out. I styled the top with shorts from Levi's that you can find over on this Levi's blog post. The bandana is from Madewell and is only $9.99 on sale at the time of writing. It's a great summer wardrobe staple!
I wore this amazing crochet piece from Revolve. It’s the perfect cover up. It’s so fun and I love the flower appliques throughout the dress. I wore a white swim suit underneath – you can find this suit and two other similar and more affordable suits here.
The bag is from Who What Wear Collection available at Target late spring– so stay tuned on the release date!
More Coachella Outfits
On Friday, I wore this pink look to a few parties. The dress itself is super cute and perfect for both day and night. If you're a fan of it, it's almost sold out, so hurry! For shoes, you can wear with flat sandals like I do here for a casual, day look. However, you could also opt for heels to dress the look up for night time. Since it was chilly at night time, I had my handy Levi's cropped jacket as well.
I styled the outfit with this special edition Furla Ducale bag of which only 100 units were produced. The Ducale bag itself comes in several other designs and is a great crossbody that fits just about everything! More on this bag soon!
On Friday night, I rocked a Milly dress and if you guys know me by now, you know I’m obsessed with the brand – particularly with how they fit petite women. This means not having to spend additional money on a seamstress! I paired the dress with a pink bandana, brown booties, and a metallic bag that I actually bought in a flea market during my India trip last month but I was able to find a similar one here.
I wore this fun and versatile dress to shoot at the Cabazon dinosaurs, to dinner at a very yummy spot in Palm Springs called Birba (great pizza), and then to a RayBan party where Jamie Jones and Black Coffee spinned.
Saturday, I opted for a gorgeous white dress. This one is from Storets. Would you believe it’s only $68? It honestly looks so much more expensive thanks to it’s lace trimmed detailing and is such a a great find. The dress can be worn to a festival, brunch, date night, to your own bridal shower. Since I was wearing it to the festival and in the desert, I paired the look with some fun cowboy boots – stay tuned for a round up on all of my shoes tomorrow. To finish the look I added a black hat. Another way of wearing this piece - or any other festival look that you're planning and you're looking for a bit of a western edge - is this Nasty Gal piece that's only $24! Yup, $24.
For the evening, I changed into a full Levi’s look and you can check out this look here.
In the comments below, let me know: which look was your favorite of the weekend? I look forward to hearing what you have to say!
As always, thank you for reading!
