Such an exciting time as I write this as it’s finally beginning to feel like spring in many places around the US and summer is just around the corner! So that means it's the perfect time to take an in-depth look at the gorgeous Limon-Embellished clutch from Kayu. That's right, it's time for another Hot Bag Alert, and this one is for a bag that is exactly $100 - it's a no brainer. But how's the bag? Let's dive in:

You know by now I love my handbags but I particularly love to play around with fun and trendier bags during summer. You might remember past Hot Bag Alerts were we looked at similar bags. It’s a great way to add a statement to any outfit whether you like color or not. And the Kayu Limon-Embellished clutch is the perfect example of a fun, summer clutch. The clutch, as the name and look suggest was designed in the shape of a lemon slice and has embellishments that resemble shell pips and a bohemian tassel. It also has an optional chain so you can be hands-free, if you choose to.
The Kayu Limon-Embellished clutch is handwoven and unzips to reveal a twill-linked interior. Inside there is also a card slot in case you want to leave the wallet at home - which is very useful for this type of bag - think pool parties, beach outings, and such.
But one of the keys most times when it comes to fun summer clutches is the price. Let's face it: not all of us can just pay $1000s for a seasonal bag. The Kayu Limon-Embellished clutch delivers again here because it's $100.
Kayu Limon-Embellished Clutch Dimensions
The exact dimensions are 11”width x 6”height and 0.5”diameter, making it slightly larger than your average clutch. What fits inside? I'd say mostly the essentials but its size allows for a large cellphone (fits my iPhone 7plus), mini keychain wallet, lipgloss, eyeliner, and concealer.
How To Style The Clutch?
There are of course several outfits that the clutch would complement perfectly. For example, an easy option would be to style with a Denim Skirt, blouse, flat sandal and fun earrings for a casual weekend look.
For a resort-ready look - or if you are into linen, consider pairing with linen shorts and a great blouse and heels for a dressed up resort wear look.
The bag, I think, can easily transition to night-time as well. For an relaxed evening look wear a silk or chiffon maxi dress plus strappy sandals and statement earrings.
