Transitional Midi Dress + On-Trend Slides
Hi all,
We've been talking about transitional dressing for August and September, when it's still hot out, but you want to start showing off some Fall hints and today's article is no exception, as we're looking at this fun outfit which combines a fun UO midi dress and DSW slides.
Transition from Summer to Fall
It's that time of the year - when we begin transitioning from Summer to Fall and though we've spoken about ideas on how to do so with maxi skirts, today, we're talking about this fun look that features this Urban Outfitters midi dress. Thanks to its orange and black flowers, it makes for the perfect dress for the transition to and well into Fall. The reason being that when it comes to Fall florals, you want to try and stick with darker florals, like this one.
Aside from being a good transitional dress, it also is super versatile, because it can easily go from work, to happy hour, to weekend outings as well. Luckily, it's also quite affordable, and be sure to shop it below as it comes in three different variants. As of writing, the design I'm wearing is close to being sold out.
Retro-inspired dresses are very much "in" this season and this dress is a great example of the trend as it has that hint of the 50s and 60s.
Slides for Every Day
As I was out walking this little one, I opted for something comfortable, but still on trend as well: the Adidas slides. As you likely know, the 90s are going through a huge resurgence and are a big trend this year and that means paying homage to big 90s brands and logos. These slides are both comfortable and versatile as they can easily take you to errands or walks with your dog. But they are also great for your gym bag to wear after a good workout or a fun weekend brunch. You could even wear them to a fashion show! These are the kind of shoes that pretty much fit in anywhere so they're a good buy for your wardrobe.
Are you a fan of the 90s trend? And how do you prepare for the Summer-Fall transition? Let me know in the comments below!
xoxo,
