An Affordable Polka Dot Set

I'm a big fan of matching sets. Why? Well, first of all, you can look really cute with one. But second, the two pieces can be worn as separates, and thus extending the life of your purchase quite a bit. The set essentially gives you an almost infinite number of possibilities and that's why today, I wanted to share with you a new set from Nasty Gal that I'm loving. Nasty Gal Polka Dot Set
So you might have seen me wearing polka dots as of late - sorry not sorry - I've been loving some key polka dot pieces but I've always been a big fan. So when this polka dot set appeared, I was in love. It's perfect for Summer so you can definitely wear it in August, but you can also transition it for Fall as well. Ditch the crop top, and wear the skirt with heeled booties or combat boots (super edgy) and an oversized sweater. And again, I could totally understand if you were to say "hey, Christie, it's cute and all, but it's August, I don't want to spend hundreds on a summer/fall look." But this one is $35. That's less than parking in NYC sometimes. So yes, if you likle polka dots, and you like matching sets, this one is a no-brainer!
Polka Dot Summer Outfit
The temperature in NYC is still scorching, so I wore the set out today around NYC and opted for some fun accessories. First, the shoes are another affordable gold pair that I thought elevated the look nicely. The bag is a straw bag, and though it's sold out, I have a similar one linked here and below. Lastly, I wanted to add this fun big hat that you've seen me wear before. It's one of the must-have hats for the Summer (but would be totally okay to get too for your Winter escapes)!
